This intermediate level Pilates class focuses on the classical mat choreography.
Students develop fundamental skills including understanding and controlling range of motion in pelvis, hips, ribcage, and shoulder girdle. Through awareness of effective body placement and position, engagement of essential muscle groups for dynamic stabilization and specific breathing techniques, students strengthen their foundation upon which all Pilates exercises are built.
Progression occurs as mastery of the exercises can be done with control and precision.
Toning tools may be used; such as Magic Circles, small-weighted balls and bands
