Growing up in the health and fitness heartland of Northern California, Kate discovered the benefits of exercise at an early age.  From mountain biking and sea kayaking to yoga and aerobic dance, Kate has always found solace in nature and in movement.  Kate developed an interest in mind-body fitness in the late 90s and her experience as a mental health counselor supports her transformational approach.  She encourages her students to listen to their bodies and be guided by sensation while offering multi-level options for a personalized workout that maximizes conditioning potential.  Kate has presented nationally and locally, regularly offering workshops, organizing flash mobs, and participating in other special events to promote health and healing in the community.
