Restorative Yoga starts with a short practice of easy opening poses followed by a lying down meditation. It’s often called Yoga Nidra which is a research-based practice for guided deep relaxation and meditation. The practice is currently being used in military bases, hospitals and schools. It can over the long term help reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTS and insomnia, while increasing health and your ability to roll with life’s ups and downs.
